Please join us for a Prayer Service for Life. This service will be held in the chapel of the International Center in St. Louis, MO and live-streamed on Facebook.
Even amidst a world and culture opposed to the preservation of life, Christians thank and praise our God for the precious gift of life. He gives life freely and abundantly to all mankind as our Creator. Christ Jesus gave His life freely as a ransom for us that we may have life eternally. The Holy Spirit strengthens us that we may continually preserve life, the life of the unborn, the aged, and the vulnerable. Because we have been given the gift of life, we seek to live according to the great love and mercy given to us by God.
We lament the tragedy of abortion, and we mourn the many lives lost. We pray for the preservation of life. We pray that those who make, govern, and judge our laws would do so according to the will of God. We pray that hearts may be turned towards Christ and that we may learn to see all people as through His eyes.
The Prayer Service for Life will be the evening before the Supreme
Court of the United States hears the oral arguments for Dobbs vs. Jackson. A case that could overturn Roe v. Wade.
